The European Union’s Development Education and Awareness Raising Programme, DEAR, supports projects that engage the European public in worldwide issues of social, economic and environmental development.
DEAR works with civil society organisations and local authorities to promote universal values of freedom, democracy and the rule of law. The Programme is managed by the European Commission’s International Partnerships Directorate, with the assistance of the DEAR Support Team.
