14. Why is the project taking place? | The action came about as a natural development of the global learning activities created in the past by the lead applicant and project partners of the current proposal. “Solidarity Schools”, “Art and Earth”, “A Possible World”, “Youth4Earth” and “Parlez-vous global”, inter alia, are just some of the many European projects which the current partnership has actively engaged to set up a system of many successful experiences of inclusion of global learning good practices in formal and non-formal educational programmes and of civic youth activism strengthening. These experiences have led to the individual partners being progressively acknowledged in their territories as reference organizations on the themes of global learning. The assessments on this subject have shown the benefits that project actions aimed at reinforcing these territorial tools, guarantee in terms of sustainability of the results achieved.
