Why is the need form the project?"Millions of garment and textile workers in major garment producing countries like China, Bangladesh and India, face poor working conditions every day. The way garment brands in Europe do business is a major contributing factor. It has an enormous impact on the wellbeing of workers. Many brand employees know that conditions could be better in factories, but aren’t sure what they can do to help. WellMade helps people in the industry figure out where to start. "

(If you project is less than 1 year old feel free to ignore this question)WellMade has been offering sessions at fashion weeks and brand HQs using smartphone technology. The design of the sessions was received very positively in terms of content, and look and feel. Almost all interviewed participants, described independently the case of ‘color changes’ as a very fitting and realistic example. They said they were eager to learn more case-specific examples that could help them in more detail. To make the content of the successful training session ‘sustainable’, WellMade developed the publication ‘Improving working conditions in your clothing supply chain’. This well-designed paper book was launched during Berlin Fashion Week January 2016.
