However, development education in museums is still rare. The project aims at closing this gap: it developed an innovative approach on how to integrate development education into museums. To reach this goal both partner museums and partner development NGOs have elaborated 41 innovative and affordable installations on global issues and the MDG agenda as embedded elements of exhibitions.

(If you project is less than 1 year old feel free to ignore this question)More than 300.000 visitors were reached by the global learning installations in the museums which are part of the project. Drawing upon the results of our evaluation polls in the museums it can be concluded that our installations on global issues were very popular with the visitors. Especially the opportunity to get involved is appreciated by the visitors. It is a big success that many visitors indicated to have taken away concrete motivation for their daily lives. Moremore, the feedback during the multiplication events was very positive. The participants considered the approach to use museums as places of global learning interesting and worth imitating. Several museums have already entered into the planning of own installations.
