13. Project background: Why is the project taking place? Why is the need form the project? | The project background is the effects of globalisation on women. There is an alarming increase in poverty among women, the violation of women’s human rights in free trade zones as well as the poor working conditions (including “poverty wages”) of women. As globalisation processes are becoming more and more complex, citizens need a flexible methodology to evaluate changing contexts and to define their way of behaviour. |

(If you project is less than 1 year old feel free to ignore this question) | 3 Int. multiplier workshops in Bulgaria, Moldowa, Bulgaria created impact (political attention) and led to increased ownership of multipliers. The visibility of an EU-funded project was perceived as effective in giving political importance to the topic of global Learning/sportswear Industry. A Learning trip to El Salvador gave great input to future project activities. A campaign around the world Cup (2014) and Speakers Tours produced public interest and a huge media response. Attractive materials as reason for success: Beermats and an Online Betting tool; Authentic first hand reports from guests from the south were identified as a convincing tool for awareness raising. |
