13. Project background: Why is the project taking place? Why is the need form the project?Despite the increase in global learning opportunities, levels of social mobilization and civic action on the themes of MDG-7 are still insufficient. Youth have new emotional and relational needs which traditional social organizations are not prepared for. As for the constraints that influence youth's ability to participate, there is increasing difficulty in taking on structured commitments; this is being replaced by forms of light or flexible commitment.

(If you project is less than 1 year old feel free to ignore this question)"29.500 people reached during the local events with the multimedia installation and 400 video commitments collected during the campaign that inspired an increased desire to repeat the same experience, deepen issues and participate in the project in the youth involved; A camp in Burkina Faso for 10 youth that has created the awareness of the difficulties and the slow pace of socio-cultural transformations as well as the depth and size of the structural inequalities between nations An European youth network composed by youth active in social and cultural organizations, based on local small and informal network working on sustainability issues. A guide to disseminate the experience between educators, youth policies makers and associations.
