13. Project background: Why is the project taking place? Why is the need form the project?The project wants to overcome the Eurocentric point of view and clearly outline the value of southern experiences in global issues, showing the success of microcredit, invented in Bangladesh by Muhammed Yunus, and the great role of community and solidarity in poverty reduction. The introduction of this topic in the secondary school curricula gives to the students the possibility to understand the existence of different ideas and financial and economical practices that could alleviate poverty

22. Please give a short description of the major result or success of the project so far. (If you project is less than 1 year old feel free to ignore this question)The methodology used is based on a constant open dialogue with relevant stakeholders, encouraging a mutual exchange of experiences and views amongst the parts involved. Staring from a background join study, indentifying the secondary schools curricula and subjects that allow the introduction of new topics, than observing good practices identified in the South during field study visit, to elaborate a toolkit involving the direct beneficiaries of the project through multi-stake holder focus groups. A cascade training has been elaborate to ensure the sustainability of the activities, involving experts in an international training of trainers, a national training and a university winter school, to reach secondary schools teachers and u.students
