Why is the need form the project? | The action aimed at raising public awareness of development issues with a focus on the topic of Alternative Food Systems (AFS) as local and bottom-up solution to fight hunger and promote social cohesion. AFS characterized by geographical proximity and a social organization oriented to mutual exchange and they are an evidence of new dynamics of social development. Within the global agenda on Food Security, these models constitute reliable alternatives to constrains arisen from the globalization |
