High schools are subject focussed and prioritise exams rather than orientating pupils' attitudes and values towards a just and sustainable world. There is also a lack of tools, strategies and professional development to support this.

(If you project is less than 1 year old feel free to ignore this question)	Engagaement and commitment of 8 local authroties to participating in a 3 day residential training and developing a DE strategy for their High Schools. This has lead to working groups being established in 4 of these. Success was possibly due to project teachers demonstrating the value added to teaching and learning through the methods espoused by the project.
