Why is the need form the project?Business and consumer behavior in the Global North are causing rising economic, ecological and social burdens in the Global South, endangering the MDGs. People in the North must recognize how injustice in a globalized world affects developing countries and what they can do about it. Impacts on the economic, ecological and social situation in the Global South by fostering changes in behavior in the Global North - with focus on economic actors and their approaches - are needed.

(If you project is less than 1 year old feel free to ignore this question)"* strengthened networks and increased awareness of over 1,500 stakeholders from administration, business and academia, e.g. in events in the Asia-Pacific Weeks 2013/2015 and the Bazaar Berlin 2014 * enabling of 20 municipalities/towns to be awarded with the FTT award (10 received the award, 10 further supported), 600 actors trained on fair procurement/FT, three fair shopping guides * 300 university and business school leaders and teachers addressed regarding GE and CSR in curricula, 750 students trained in pilot seminars and the simulation games on CSR and its global dimension The partnership made use of its many years’ experience/expertise on the topic, its very good networks with the three sectors and the engagement of the target groups
